About Me

The face behind Pilates by Gwyneth

Hello, I'm Gwyneth

 I’m a personal trainer who works through the method of Pilates, specialising in one-to-one sessions that adapt to your body, your season of life, and your evolving needs.


My background is in movement, injury recovery and women’s health, and I’ve seen first-hand how powerful Pilates can be — not just for strength, but for awareness, control and long-term wellbeing. I don’t teach fast or aggressively. I teach intentionally.


Over the years, I’ve supported women through:

  • Pregnancy and postnatal recovery
  • Rehabilitation from pain or injury
  • Core reconnection, posture correction and mobility work
  • Strength-building without strain or burnout
     

Whether you’re rebuilding or progressing, my approach is the same:

We train with purpose, not pressure.
We listen to your body.
We move slowly — and we get strong.
 

I currently teach from my private studio in Kouklia, Paphos, and also offer at-home sessions on request.

Philosophy

Movement with Purpose

 I believe Pilates should adapt to your body — not the other way around.

There is no perfect posture, no “ideal” pace and no pressure to perform. Some days your body is ready to work hard. Other days it needs space to release. Both are valid. Both are progress.


My philosophy is simple:

  • Personal over generic. No fixed sequences — every session is shaped around how you feel that day.
     
  • Slow is strong. Control builds more strength and awareness than force or momentum.
     
  • Consistency beats intensity. Real change comes from sustainable movement, not push-and-crash effort.
     
  • Compassion always comes first. You don’t have to earn rest or recovery — it’s part of training.
     

Movement should build trust, not tension. That’s how I teach.
